Information used by this website

When you visit, hosting and security providers process technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages, and request times to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. Vercel hosts the site. Cloudflare provides security for the private staff area where configured.

If you email, call, or book a meeting, the practice receives the contact details and information you choose to provide. These are used to respond and arrange the conversation. Please do not include Social Security numbers, tax returns, account passwords, or other sensitive documents in booking notes or ordinary website inquiries. Client work and document exchange are arranged separately.

Booking and other external services

Booking links open Calendly, which handles scheduling under its own privacy notice. The site does not embed a Calendly form. Links to other sites take you to services governed by their own policies. Some reading-cover images are served from Audible or Amazon infrastructure; some standalone pages request fonts or diagram software from external providers, which receive the technical information needed to deliver those resources.

Audience measurement and your choice

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page usage. This integration does not use analytics cookies or advertising pixels. It excludes private staff pages and removes query strings and fragments from measured page URLs. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information.

You can turn off this site’s audience measurement in this browser below. The choice is stored locally on this domain; set it separately on each domain you use. The integration also respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Necessary hosting/security logs are unaffected.

Access, retention, and requests

Information is handled by the practice and the service providers involved in hosting, security, communications, and scheduling. Those services may process information outside Hawaii. Records may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the service.

Retention depends on the service and purpose: operational logs follow provider settings, while correspondence and booking records may be needed to respond, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. Contact the practice to ask what information it holds about you, request correction or deletion, or discuss a privacy concern. Any request will be considered in light of applicable recordkeeping obligations and the need to verify your identity.
